Danger of EMF (Electro Magnetic Field )Radiation
EMF Radiation Exposures
Electromagnetic fields (EMFs) are invisible to the human eye. They are found in our homes, offices, schools and public spaces.
Studies show that EMF radiation can affect our health. EMFs can cause anything from headaches to cancers, depending on the level of exposure and the individual’s age and health status. For instance, children are more vulnerable to EMF radiation than adults because their brains are still developing. as seen in graph below children absorb 60% more radiation as compared to adults.
Below is another research done by Environmental Health Trust, USA & University of California, San Diego, USA and found that children absorb more mircowave radiation compared to adults because their brain tissues are more absorbent, skulls are thinner and smaller. This puts the children are higher risk. Another case study also shown that teenage girls with multiple primary breast cancer due to cellphone placed in bras.
What is EMF radiation?
EMF radiation is the electromagnetic field radiation that is all around us. It comes from a variety of sources and can be dangerous to our health and wellbeing if we are not careful.
In today’s society, we are constantly exposed to electromagnetic fields. Our cell phones, microwaves, and laptops produce these fields and we’re often left with no choice but to expose ourselves to them. However, according to a report by the World Health Organization (WHO), there is a link between electromagnetic fields and cancer. The WHO has documented connections between EMFs and cancer rates in different countries and regions around world. For instance, they found that people living the closest to power lines had higher rates of leukemia than those who live further away from them. It’s important for us as individuals and as a society to take action against EMFs now before its too late.
Whenever possible it is best to try and limit your exposure to EMFs by reducing your use of cell phones, microwaves, electric devices or anything else that produces this type of electromagnetic field.
